Life is a book, and those who do not travel only read one page - European Wanderer is the title of a project, and online magazine and a series of a video documents on a whole range of serious topics on land, people and culture. Wanderers walk de facto, however, working on their episode hand in hand with a student or students from their partner schools, they also walk in a figurative sense when they have to actively participate on creating an article a place they have never been to, or on culture, they have never experienced.  

AIMS

- To develop the skills of students to express and present their opinions publicly in both written and oral forms;
- to boost writing and reading skills of students in a foreign language as well as general awareness of the socio-economic and environmental issues in the modern world;
- to develop critical thinking skills when looking for, selecting and organizing relevant information on the chosen topic;
- to learn basic web writing and graphical design rules and to get familiar with the job of a journalist: rights and duties of journalists; respecting author's rights;
- to develop collaborative writing and proof-reading skills;
- to take digital pictures and use them in articles;
- to use ICT collaborative tools for publishing, editing, commenting and, if available, rating articles;
- to develop inter-cultural skills of students

WORK PROCESS

October - November
- launching the e-mail, website and the Facebook group to make the mutual contacts among the students easy,
- the editorial board and the production team from the students will manage the website and the production of the videos,
- working on the editorial and profiles of students to enable them to find their co-author / co-authors,
December - April
- working on and publishing the articles on the chosen topics,
- every article on our local attractions, art, culture and people will be written in close collaboration between authors from at least two schools,
- the articles will be interactive - they will contain lots of images, quizes, forums, blogs, feedback of readers,
- setting on local trips to gather the knowledge and material (pictures and videos) for one or more of articles,
May - June
- finalizing the first issue of our European Wanderer and the video version

EXPECTED RESULTS

- articles in a foreign language published on-line;
- managing and editing a website with an organized structure and containing articles written by all teams involved.
- a video document prepared by all teams involved
